This work studies the spiritual disease of riyaa (showing off) by combining the efforts of early scholars like Ibn al-Jawzee, Ibn Rajab and modern day scholars. Its importance cannot be overstressed because the char?acter which Islam seeks to build would be incomplete without a dear understanding of this subject.
